The travelling roadshow 'Doug the Digger' visits The New Zealand Caterpillar Experience several times a year.  Mr Mac spends individual time with each child teaching them how to operate a Goughs CAT 1 1/2 ton digger along with entry to The NZ Caterpillar Experience,  activity sheets and colouring competitions. 

It is always a pleasure for us to host Mr Mac, we are always amazed with his patience and to see how much the children appreciate and enjoy this experience.  Many skills are displayed by the young operators - listening, comprehension, co-ordination, task completion and good manners.
